Simply measure the thread to thread edge. IF OVER 2 Inches then 2 inch.
IF under 2" then 1.5 Inch. Simple.

Measure the Diameter Edge to Edge.
IF open like in this photo also measure the opening size.

Simply that is just a measurement of the paper in the filter UNFOLDED.

A 50 sqft will have MORE FOLDS than a 25 sqft. filter. That's all.
